NGI’s President, Mr. Thomas Ginsbach, PE, GE, realized this crucial link early in his career as he was performing forensic examinations of failed geotechnical projects. The lessons he learned and has applied ever since are that no matter how magnificent the engineering design it must be correctly implemented in the field or the project is exposed to an unnecessarily high degree of risk.
