Overview

NGI completed a Phase I ESA, Phase II Site Characterization, and Phase III Remediation of an automotive dealership in Bellevue, Washington. Phase II Site Characterization work included overseeing drilling activities, topographic survey, groundwater pump tests, and site sampling. NGI managed the source removal and sealing off of foundation floor slab to prevent reintroduction of contaminants. Due to concerns raised by the on-site tenant, a remedial action plan was developed that would not disrupt the ongoing site operations. NGI utilized in-situ bio remediation to address the petroleum hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvent impact to soils and groundwater. Monitoring of the remedial action indicated that soil and groundwater contamination had been reduced to below the established Method B cleanup levels.
