Project: Various Projects, Midwest Based International Engineering Firm

Overview

NGI has provided laboratory testing services in support of a Midwest based international engineering firm on multiple projects. Each of the large scale geotechnical laboratory assignments included numerous moisture content tests, density determinations, hydrometer analysis, and Atterberg limits tests. In addition, NGI’s data recording direct shear machine was put to 24-hour utilization in order to accommodate the time requirements of the projects. Both direct shear and residual shear tests were completed. Unconfined compression tests were also completed on both rock and soil samples. Updates of the testing status were provided on each project. After quality control review on the laboratory analysis final reports were issued.
