Overview

NTI provided special inspection and materials testing for the Toyota Portland Terminal 4 port facility expansion. The port facility expansion including the construction of seven new structures with a combined 100,000 square feet of interior space and over 40 acres of asphaltic concrete pavement. NTI’s duties included subgrade evaluation, earthwork monitoring, reinforced concrete inspection, asphaltic concrete inspection, structural steel inspection including non-destructive examination of FEMA moment frame connections, structural masonry inspection, and proprietary anchor inspection.
